I am home from Basic!  :)
It was a lot of fun, and I already miss it all.  I can't wait to leave again for more training, and then get shipped out somewhere... anywhere... soon after that.
Thanks so much to all of you who wrote me and sent me pics and stuff.  It meant a lot and definitely made me smile after a long day of training to receieve news from home.  So, thanks again!  I have plenty to tell and show you, so be sure to give me a call if I don't get to you first!  Much love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, after spending a few extra days stuck at the hotel in Lansing at MEPS, I have arrived safely in St. Louis, Missouri!  Later today we have a three hour bus ride to Ft. Leonard Wood, but until then, we get to chill in the USO here at the airport and sleep/eat free food/ use the internet!  It'll be the last time I can use it until I get back home 10 weeks from now.  I am definitely getting super, super nervous.  I cannot believe I am actually here doing this right now.  It's crazy!  But, it's gonna be so fun, and I am excited to see how much I can push myself and grow.  :)  YAY!

Anyways... prayers and letters of encouragement would be appreciated!  I don't have the address as of yet, but as soon as I do, I'll be letting my family know and I'll have my sis or bro post my address on here so everyone can write me!  :)  Much love to all... stay safe, and have a wonderful summer!  I'll see ya'll in 10 weeks!

WOW... lots of nonsense!

First off... my brother is such a cool kid, and I love him dearly!  Hang in there buddy!

Second... No more May session!  I had to drop it!  I got a call from one of my contacts in the Army who told me that my ship date for Basic Training is bumped up a little and I would end up missing an entire week of May session, which makes it totally not worth taking anymore.  So, I dropped it, which means I won't have the credits I need to graduate on time!  CRAZY!  Sooo... I have a lot of stuff to figure out to make school work, plus my stress level just went WAY up because of leaving earlier than planned for the summer!  GEEZ!

Third... my room in the new apartment is STILL not put together.  Hopefully I get that done tonight, because it's craziness right now.  Anyways... that's all.  Just had to vent about my hectic-ness.  :)

We're moved in!  I can't believe it!  I have been looking forward to getting into our apartment for so long, and now we actually are there!  It's great... I pretty much love it.  :)

I have to admit though, I am going to miss the dorm life... just walking down the hall to hang out with people and always having something to do... as lame as it may be, at least it's something!  :)

It's also been kind strange to realize that I am almost done here!  I have one semester left because of working ahead, and I won't be back to walk for graduation, becaues I'll be gone w/ the Army!  :)  Which is pretty cool, I must say!  Life is just good.

Another ending, so many new beginnings!
